Janice McClung along with the Department of Communication Disorders will be heading up Communication Classes at Pyramid Studios
Communication classes will be taught by Department of Communication Disorders 2nd year graduate students
At Pyramid Studios this Semester, Janice McClung and five second year graduate students in the Department of Communication Disorders, will be teaching communication classes. This union has provided learning opportunities for everyone involved in the past, and the student response has always been strong.

“Graduate students from FSU’s Department of Communication Disorders build numerous competencies as they partner with consumers and staff at Pyramid. Our communication class provides learning opportunities for all parties,” said Janice McClung, Director of Clinical Education at FSU’s Department of Communication Disorders.
Students who have participated in the class at Pyramid studios in the past have enjoyed working on talking and breathing in a fun way, the encouragement they receive to speak loud and without restrictions, and increasing employable skills by improving communication. The class can also help the students communicate their ideas, needs, and wants with family and friends.
The Communication Class also provides an excellent opportunity for the performance artists at Pyramid Studios to strength their singing and acting ability through effective communication. Techniques can be learned that will help performance artists be completely understood on stage in performances like, Mystery at Dodge City Disco, which was recently put on at The Moon.
