Thomas Rasheed, Associate Professor in the Division of Graphic Communication at Florida A&M University

Strategies are used to achieve functional and exciting visual communication in logo identity and publication layout design

Thomas Rasheed, Associate Professor in the DivisionProfessor Rasheed  of Graphic Communication at Florida A&M University, will make two special guest presentations on visual communication design strategies and principles for the Department of Communication at Florida State University on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. These strategies are used to achieve functional and exciting visual communication in logo identity and publication layout design, and are targeted for non-designers’ use.

Professor Rasheed received his bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Florida A&M University , with a minor in Graphic Arts Technology, and also attended Northern Illinois University , where he received the Masters of Fine Arts in Visual Communications and Graphic Design. He has extensive experience in advertising and visual communication, working with leading agencies and clients in the United States since the 1970s.
