Introduction

Acceptance to our programs is rather competitive. We admit 65 undergraduates into the communication sciences major each fall.  Because the major is limited access, application to the program is required.  

Our well-respected graduate program offers rigorous preparation of students to become Speech-Language Pathologists. Innovative clinical training is infused with an emphasis on Evidence Based Practice. Each fall, we typically accept about 32 students into our Master’s Program in Speech-Language Pathology.

Our doctoral program is integral in carrying out clinical research and our students are vital to the activity of our laboratories and clinical sites. We currently have over 20 students enrolled in our doctoral program. Our rich array of collaborators and community partners allow us to conduct clinical research in a variety of school, hospital, rehab, assisted living, community, residential, and home settings.
