Application Requirements and Procedures

Master's Application Procedures

Documents 1, 2 and 3 should be uploaded to the Supporting Documents page of the University Application. Two letters of recommendation are required, which will be submitted electronically; your online application contains instructions on how to arrange for the letters to be sent. Do NOT have hard copies of letters sent to the department.

 

  • In Document 1, upload---Statement of Intent.
    • Click here to open the Statement of Intent (Word document)
  • In Document 2, upload---Curriculum Vitae/Resume.
  • In Document 3, upload a copy of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. You may upload unofficial copies, but please remember that you will still need to send two copies of official transcripts to the university Office of Admissions.

PhD Application Procedures

Documents should be uploaded in the Supporting Documents page of the University Application. Three letters of recommendation are required, which will be submitted electronically. Your online application contains instructions on how to arrange for the letters to be sent. Do NOT have hard copies of letters sent to the department.

  • In Document 1, upload---Purpose Statement

         *Be sure to state clear research    

          objectives and provide information on faculty

          you would be interested in working with.

  • In Document 2, upload — Current Resume/Curriculum Vitae
  • In Document 3, copy of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. You may upload unofficial copies, but please remember that you will still need to send two copies of official transcripts to the university Office of Admissions.

Note: Missing materials will delay the processing of your graduate school application.
